Koh Samui, Thailand, Summer 2012

Let me present to you, Koh Samui International Airport:

Easily the most beautiful airport in the world. Do you even need another reason to visit Samui?

But if you do, Mu Ko Ang Thong National Marine Park is another popular reason:

Koh or Ko means island in Thai. So when you speak of Koh Samui, you can just call it Samui. and Mu Ko in the name of the national park means Group of Islands. We took a ferry boat which included hotel transfer, breakfast and lunch. And it also included going to a couple of islands, a hike in Mae Koh Island (just kidding here’s the real link).

We were only there for 2 nights; we got there quite early on Saturday, spent the day at the beach that was connected to our hotel, spent the second day in the national marine park, and the third day getting a beach side thai massage and exploring a fancy hotel.

My parents are the type of people who take the offer of free airport transfer, even if it means spending 2 hours on the last day on a beautiful island listening to a presentation about a timeshare, and not getting the timeshare. It was in a beautiful hotel though, so while they were being presented to, my sisters and I explored.
