I’m a Third Culture Kid – parents from different countries, born in another country, raised in a lot of others. Because of this lifestyle, I am quite fortunate to be able to travel to a lot of different places regularly. From an early age I’ve documented those travels in detailed emails to my family and organised photo albums on my computer. My family members always insisted that I put all my experiences together in one place, and I’ve finally grown up enough to listen to them.

I love all kinds of foods, and I love experimenting with different types of foods, and especially baking. Almost all of my recipes are egg-free and all are meat/fish-free. Most are my attempts of other people’s recipes, all together in one place for future reference.

Since starting university I have slowly been neglecting my fitness more and more. And since summer 2015, I have developed Cholinergic Urticaria – a reaction to heat and sweat which makes me break out in hives all over my face and body which burn and itch. This has made me forego exercise even more. I’ve finally gotten to the point where I’m understanding my body and how it functions under antihistamines and after the reactions occur. So I’m starting to work out again using 30 day Fitness Challenges (ab, squat, push up, arms at beginner 1 level) and C25K apps, and documenting my path to fitness in this section.
